Heather and I are overjoyed to welcome a new “Whiteson” into the world: Colm Peter James Watson. Almost two weeks late, Colm was born at 9:48 pm on Monday, May 26th (after just 3 hours of active labour and 45 minutes of being admitted–way to go Heather) weighing in at 8 lbs. 10 oz.
We’re smitten all over again!
Heather is doing well (beyond the expected lack of sleep) and is enjoying bonding with Colm.
Lonán is an engaged big brother who happily showed Colm off to his preschool friends this morning.
Thanks to family and friends for their support before, during and after Colm’s birth. Special thanks to Iwona Kempa (who delivered Colm) and the gifted team in Pod A at Guelph Midwives who supported Heather and Colm during the pregnancy, delivery and throughout the first days of his life.
